We went through HELL from 34-38 weeks with test after test after test. Just as your Stellen, my Bradley was born perfect. I know your scare was worse with the other "problems" he was diagnoced with but we feel just as blessed! Colin was our friends’ beautiful baby boy. He was diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, and due to several complications he only lived 7.5 months. I followed their story from his birth and prayed vigorously (as did many others), but God chose to say “no.” Then, a few months ago, I found Angie’s blog and read sweet Audrey’s story. I was amazed at Angie’s faith as she described that if God would be praised though the loss of her daughter, then that was what needed to happen, but it still struck me that God said “no” to her healing too. Another friend of a friend lost a little boy to another disease after many had prayed for his recovery. Another “no.” Angie linked to others who have lost babies and I read their stories. More “no’s.” The more I read, the more I began to believe that even though God CAN say “yes,” it doesn’t seem that he DOES say yes much. “Is God preparing me for my own “no” by leading me to all of these examples of other times he’s said ‘no?’” I wondered. Perhaps He is. I hope not, but perhaps He is.<BR/><BR/>And then there was you. I of course followed the button from Angie’s blog to yours a few months ago, and began praying again for you and your sweet family. And through your story I’ve finally seen God say “yes, I will heal.” How encouraging!! Thank you for sharing this!! You are a blessing in so many lives and I’m ecstatic beyond belief about sweet Stellan’s recovery.
