I will be too. RSV is very scary.<BR/><BR/>My 4 yr old got RSV last year and was in PICU on a vent. We stayed in the hospital for 10 days. It got worse on the third day or so and then started clearing. My oldest (now 13) who has respiratory difficulties of his own, had RSV when he was 13 months old and it was very scary, though he did not fare as badly as Stellan. I've followed your blog for a while now. I have a son who was a preemie and have been there and done that with the vent, nasal canulas, him not breathing, etc. Today I have a PERFECT, precious baby boy. He's 18 months old and 2 weeks ago he had the dreaded RSV!! It hit him harder than most kids his age, but a few days of breathing treatments and steroids and he was good to go. I pray for you that you find the peace that I have and that 18 months from now you're on top of the world with your medical woes behind you. Doctors, medicine, and most of all our holy father can work amazing miracles. RSV is such a scary thing, I used to work nights on a pediatric unit and I can remember sometimes stacking nebs for these kids every hour or more until they broke. Kamryn stopped breathing again in the ER and was immediately sedated &amp; put on a vent. After a LONG day in the ER we were finally moved to the PICU, a central line was put in, etc..etc..etc...<BR/><BR/>The PICU became our &quot;home&quot; for the next 16 days as Kamryn fought through the worst case of RSV they had seen in Atlanta in years. Bad enough that we were actually interviewed by CNN the following spring and our interview was used in a story they ran on RSV.<BR/><BR/>Why am I telling you all of this...because my 5lb peanut FOUGHT and she fought hard!!
