Welcome to Not Me! Monday, where we can be brutally honest with each other, and live to tell about it. Except of course if the creator of the blog carnival is on vacation and so she gets a free pass for the week from having to be brutally honest. Except for that.
This week I am not sailing the Caribbean sea with my husband and our youngest son. I did not create and schedule this post ahead of time before we sailed because I love all of you so much and I know you still wanted to participate and I'm probably not sunburned on Monday when you all finally read this. Not me!
You guys know the drill, so carry on without me! And, since I'm not really around today, I have some dear friends monitoring my blog for me while I'm gone...they will big brother (Can I verb that!?) Not Me! Monday for me today, so stay on your toes. Please, of course.
Things with the new rules worked really well last week. I see that many of you who previously didn't know what in tarnation I meant by "link to me in your post" used the code I provided. Easy, peasy, huh? Of course, you don't have to use my canned sentence. You are welcome to link back however you want. I was just trying to help folks who didn't know how. But see if you want a link on my blog, sending all my MckTraffic to you, I'd love it if you'd return the favor.
That's just what wolverines do. Right!?
Here is what you need to do:
- Include, somewhere in your post, a sentence about Not Me! Monday and link to my blog. If you aren't sure how, you can simply copy and paste the following HTML code (everything that is in the white box below) into your post and the links will magically appear:
- Grab the Not Me! Monday button by copying the code for the button from my left sidebar and pasting it into your post. This step is optional, because it wouldn't really mess anything up about the process if you didn't do it. But do it just for fun, if you find you need a little more fun in your life. And don't we all?
- Finish off your post by writing your own Not Me's!
- Use the Mr. Linky form below to enter your name or your blog's name and a link directly to your Not Me! post. Please keep the name used to describe your blog short. You do not need to type in the entire URL of your blog in the name section. Please use spaces between words and characters. This helps insure that Mr. Linky will function properly.
Because of issues we've encountered with Mr. Linky not working properly, I will have to delete your link if it wasn't done correctly. If your link disappears, you are more than welcome to link again, but you will have lost your spot in line and will have to link at the bottom of the list.

Well - nothing really "not me" worthy has happened this week soooo I am posting something that happened a while ago.
I was at work - planning to go out at lunch to the local deli to get a sandwich.
I went to the ladies room, put on my raincoat and hopped in the car for the short drive.
Got out of the car, ordered and paid for my sandwich and started to walk back to the car when I felt a tickling sensation around my knees. I looked down and I DID NOT find my slacks had fallen all the way down to my knees. (thank goodness for the raincoat).
I would never have forgotten to zip up and button my pants after going to the ladies room. NEVER !! (can you say menopause head??).

help...anyone know why blogger is not putting my not me monday post in right order? if you go to my blog its way back on the day I started it not today chornologically even though its set for today and shows it as being on today when i go to the edit screen. I can never get blogger to automatically post the things i have schedule either...is there some setting I have wrong? I've looked 3 times and don't see it.

Cruises are cheap folks! You should book one. Just a real hassle getting on, but especially getting off. But, they know what they are doing and are really organized.

I went on two cruises last year. The first one was with my husband...after 22 years it was just what we needed. 6 months later we took my daughter (16) and neice (18) not quite as fun as the first honeymoon style cruise, but a great vacation!
