Important Raffle-Way information!!!!!!
The Raffle-Way ends tomorrow at noon, CST. You guys are amazing and have blessed my socks off with how much you have raised!!!! Just over $17,500 at press time. Wow. Just a few more hours to enter...
I will be using Random.org to pick a winning Raffle-Way number tomorrow and will be announcing the winner sometime after noon tomorrow and before midnight on Tuesday. Once we get our ducks in a row after the Raffle-Way ends, Amie will send me the numbers and I will do the randomization. Rest assured, I will post the winning number post haste...I'm just not sure exactly how long that will take.
Speaking of Raffle-Way numbers, you should have received your number (Which is not the same as your transaction id number!!) via email from Amie by now, if you donated to enter the Raffle-Way via Chip-In. If you have not received it, please listen closely:
If you donated just today, there is a chance your number has not been sent to you yet. Please be patient.
If you donated before today, please check the email address associated with your PayPal account. Is the account set up under your husband's name? Well then the Raffle-Way number was sent there. Not there? Check the spam/junk folder. This is where most missing numbers have been found.
If you checked all of the above spots and still do not have a Raffle-Way number, then please email Amie at heartsmiles7@yahoo.com. Please, please only email her if you tried the above ways to locate your number. Thanks!!
You will not have received a number for posting about the Raffle-Way on your blog, commenting that you did so on mine, and thus entering yourself for the charm necklace. Amie kept track of those of you and we will pick and announce that winner sometime after the BIG winner is announced.
Good "luck" everyone! I can't wait to see who wins! But, of course, The Elison Project, String of Pearls, and No Hands But Ours--as well as all the children and families helped by these organizations--are the real winners in all of this. Thank you!!
And now...

It's time for Not Me! Monday! I am an imperfect mama and it does a body good to admit that! To that end, I hereby declare...
...that this past week, while Prince Charming and our big boys were out ice fishing, I most certainly did not allow Small Fry to while away the hours playing with a huge box of tampons in our hallway. She was so enamored with taking the wrapped packages in and out of the box that there is no way I just let her be. For hours. While I blogged or ate cookies or licked Nutella off a spoon or something. Or possibly all three of those things. Nope. Not me!!!
I did not buy tampons in bulk at our outing to Costco because I have already gotten my period back. That would really be ridiculous, getting my period back when I am exclusively nursing a newborn. Breastfeeding is perfectly good birth control and my body is not already back in the fertility saddle. Nope. Not me! Me? I'm enjoying a long, leisurely break from menstruation and could not easily become pregnant again already.
For pete's sake.
I did not just blog about my period. Who would do that!?
This little guy (Whose hair stylist I am totally not still mad at for cutting his hair so darn short when I just asked her to "neaten the ends up a bit,") is not turning four years old this week.
I did not go out and purchase three new (Okay, used. I love Once Upon A Child.) pairs of size six jeans for him because he is not the biggest kid in his preschool class, MOPS class and Sunday School class and has outgrown all of his pants. Big Mac is still a tiny newborn baby that I just spent four and a half almost completely unmedicated hours pushing out through my pelvis. He was just born; he's not growing up before our very eyes.
And I did not just blog about pushing our son out through my pelvis. Who would do that!?
I'm not sure who would, but I know what I'd like you to do: Go ahead and join in with being brutally honest and living to tell about it! Write your own post, and then link back to this one. Once back here, sign up on Mr. Linky below so all of us can hop over to your blog to read what you so did not do this week. Please read this for detailed instructions on how to play and feel free to leave your Not Me's in the comment section of this post if you'd rather do it that way.
And please, for the love of all that is good and pure in the blog world, do not post about your period or your pelvis. Please. Who would do that!?

Where is Mr. Linky?
Oh boo....and I was all psyched to be first-ish
http://lovingmom2boys.blogspot.com/2008/12/very-tired-not-me-monday.html
Size six? Wow! Sam can still fit in 2T training pants. (Of course they don't fit Julia)
My post is up - all dedicated to Christmas so the pelvis and period talk will have to wait for another week. :)
goodnight my friend. :)
I'll at least be top 10 on comments!
http://talesfromafewnuts.blogspot.com/2008/12/not-me-monday_14.html
Is it "through" the pelvis or "from" the pelvis? Hmmmmmmmmmm. I never thought I would spend so much time thinking about it.
Its 12:05 and I am ready - of course it would be a Mr. holding up the show! hehehehe
Have a good night!
This is my second time commenting since I found your blog, but I wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed reading this post!
Melissa :)
www.withasmile.wordpress.com
I believe it is through the pelvis. Teeheehee. Goodnight ladies and gents.
Through. Definitely though. AND from. And above, about, around, and in. All of the above. And boy am I glad he's finally out!
And size 6? Jadon IS 6, and is barely keep 5's on. They are too short, but they dont stay up. The little darlin is still wearing 18 month shorts. I KNOW! He is saving me a bundle in the summer! I do feed him. He doesnt like it, but I do feed him! :)
So funny...where else can you read about periods and tampons in a not gross way. Love your blog! And I think Big Mac's hair looks very adorable!
ohmygosh! I had a baby girl (our third) right around the time you had Stellan and I had not even thought about my period yet. Now you've got me all terrorized thinking it might descend upon me at any moment! Blech, can't a girl get a break? You poor thing, lol.
Hey, at least you have that jumbo box of tampons lying around right? If you can get them away from Small Fry that is ;)
My husband and I are both MckMama fans. The phrase "MckMama" frequently gets uttered to the exclusive purpose of producing smiles and laughter. Thank you for sharing your life.
I am #3!!! Wow! I am usually #193! I cannot believe that Big Mac wears a size !
Have I mentioned lately I adore your period havin' pelvis pushin' self?
YOU CRACK ME UP.
That is too funny about Small Fry and the tampon box. My best friend's little brother once went to a (boy's) birthday party while in grade school and another boy brought his present wrapped in a tampon box! He had no idea what it was.
I promise I didnt cheat! For some reason I am linked to last weeks not me's. I have a link in last weeks to be sure! :):)
I thought nothing of you posting about tampons and pushing a child through or from your pelvis. It just seems natural you would post about stuff like that. And, WHAT! no picture of Small Fry playing with the tampons?
I really DID almost run to get my camera when Small Fry was playing with the tampons. But my good lens is broken, the new one is not in yet, and I was much too busy eating Nutella or whatever else I was (not) eating anyway to want to take a break from that to photograph her using one of my other lenses. So you'll just have to use your imagination....
I totally did not pre-write my post so that I could post tonight.
I would never, ever blog about my period every 4 weeks or so, no way, not me! Nor would I ever let my son, who is 11 and doesn't have a clue what they are for, play with my tampons as if they were those sticks that they use at the airport to bring the planes in...Not me! either:)
Hilarious!
Can't believe I am getting up at 2:34 in the am to do this...I am hooked!! LOL! I can't believe Big Mac is so tall! My 5 year old just started wearing 5's this year :) Have a great week MckMama - Happy Birthday to Big Mac!
That was FUN, again, Mck Mama! Thanks for hosting!
Were you hoping to take time off from being in the fertility saddle, or were you just hoping for a longer break from your periods that you didn't blog about? LOL!
Up until a few years ago I didn't have periods except when induced by Rx drugs. Now, after my 4th child, I'm like clockword (hence the 5th, unexpected but much wanted child) I think now that I know what it's like and I'm DONE having children, I'd prefer time off from the nasty things.
And I did not just comment about my fertility and periods. Is nothing sacred?! lol!
My first time actually posting... :-) Got to tell Stellan's story this weekend while I was out Christmas shopping... able to share the gospel with someone because of a bracelet.
How stinkin' cool?
I must say, I am so inspired by your blog. I read it constantly and stalk your blog for updates. I'm not able to do "not me monday" this week...soooo sick. I should go to the hospital but I'm a little stubborn :) I thnik it's great you're raising money for such wonderful charities. I have contacted String of Pearls and told them that if they ever need ANYTHING I'd be more than happy to help. I am unable to donate (single mom with a tight Christmas budget aka eating ramen for a week) but I wanted to give you two ginormous thumbs up.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
Loved it as usual! Hey, I blogged about hormones this week and we're all friends here so blog away.
Six-oh-eight. Six-oh-eight.
Six-oh-eight. Six-oh-eight.
Six-oh-eight. Six-oh-eight.
Big Mac is too cute. Hard to believer he's not even 4 yet... I bet you get a lot of comments about that.
It is up!
Ooo, baby #5?
Ah!
Thanks so much for the "you may touch with one finger" trick!
Hi, MckMama! Okay! I have posted my FIRST Not Me Monday....thanks for inviting me to participate! Loving the new family pic.
Tampons? Best tow ever! So much fun!
I'm a first time "Not Me! Monday" poster although I've followed the cult for quite a long time. Hope I can live up to the hype!
Where else could we all come to talk about "female problems"? Only you MckMama, only you :O) I got out of the shower a few weeks ago to find my girls playing with my "sanintary napkins" on the floor in the bathroom. They had them strewn all about and were having a grand ol' time. I did get pictures. I titled the post "Motherhood Has Taken my Dignity and Privacy". :o) Thanks for the laugh to start my Monday off in a good mood!
Ahhh... the good old "monthly gift." Gotta love it, huh? I remember not getting mine until 6 months after my second was born (and a romantic trip to Puerto Rico at 3 weeks post partum that included some rum punch and disregard for the 6 week rule...ahem...) I'll never forget the terrified feeling I had after the second month of no period along with the mad dash for the drugstore pg test isle!! (it was negative, but whew!!!)
Anyway, are you and PC really thinking of another right now? I thought I remember your doc warning you to wait 2 yrs when Stellan was born? Just be careful cuz we'd hate for anything bad to happen...then again, there are guardian angels on the job! :)
love,
Angela
Zachie wears a size six too, so don't worry, Big Mac isn't the biggest 3 (almost 4) year old out there!
Great post this week!
Wish Not Me! Monday had existed when I had little kids. I spent way too much effort thinking I was the only flaky mom! :0)
I think it's hilarious that you blog about your period! Of course, I'm a nurse, so we talk about all kinds of fun things like that on a regular basis around our house:) I sure hope you have a backup form of birth control.....it's not like you're fertile or anything!
I too had to wax nostalgic about boys growing up. Ah, the days. It's just that mine were sooooo long ago!
Love the tampon story - but wait until one of your kids takes them to school. A story for another post...
Oh MackMama, Big Mac looks adorable. I personally like little boys' hair to be on he shorter side, rather than long, I love the way it frames their adorable little faces.
I am a newer Not Me Monday poster, but have been following for awhile. Glad to be here.
Pushing through the pelvis, playing with Tampons...I love brutal honesty! My daughter (5)wanted to start using pantiliners because I did and the other (6) thought the tampons were big Q-Tips!!
Mariah
I don't know how I could get through my Monday without this! Thanks!!!
My blog is private and I don't know how to do the link thing anyway so I'm gonna post a couple of not me's on here.
My refrigerator door did NOT fall entirely off while company was here last Saturday because a screw fell out a week ago and my husband forgot to fix it!
And I definitely did NOT get up this morning to get a drink of water(half asleep of course)and realize AFTER I drank some that there was a lady bug in the bottle that almost went in my mouth! No way, I mean that would be gross, right?!
Okay, and here's one to go along with your period and tampon story. There was NOT some of that yucky looking mucous(that I have every month) left in the toilet that didn't flush down and when my 5 year old went to pee he was NOT convinced that it came out of him and I did NOT have to argue with him that it most definitely wasn't his...it was mine. That would have been crazy!! lol
Can't think of anything else at the moment, but I love your Not Me Monday's. Maybe I'll figure out how to link to just that one post in my blog before next week.
Happy Monday. My "little" BG is the same way with clothes. She is not even three and I am already buying shirts in the big girl section. She is just so tall for her age :-)
Your post always puts a smile on my face!! Thanks for the entertainment!! I also LOVE your pics..they are always so beautiful!!! Happy Holidays!!!
My 7 year old still wears a size 6 pants and my boy turning 4 this month only just now wears a 4 (slim)! Big Mac doesn't seem that big in pictures! And please send some menstruation vibes this way because I'm late and not ready for 5 kids and therefore anxiously awaiting my period!
Just thought you'd enjoy knowing I have a 3 1/2 year old little boy who is also in size 6 jeans. He is about 44 inches tall, weighs 52 lbs and a size 1 extra wide shoe - whew! And yes... is always the biggest one in his class, LOL. The best part is that we adopted him at birth and he is going to tower over my somewhat vertically challenged hubby and I in no time flat :)
Risa
I would have no qualms about letting my kid play with tampons (in the wrapper, of course. Ew.). I mean, as long as he's not screaming, right?
Happy Monday!
OK, thosea re hilarious... I know all too well what you mean about nursing and then WHAT!!! getting your period!!!!
McMama,
I don't know. I think I would post about my period! I NEVER get it without meds so I would be totally pumped about getting it. If I were in your situation of course not so much! Yikes #5 could get on the way quick, couldn't she???
And the tampons...I have caught my almost 2 year old boy digging in mine as well. However, since he is a BOY I figured not a good habit to let him get into...you know playing in mom's "party favors".
And, HOLY COW!! It's just past 8am and already 112 have linky'd to your carnival. Wow! I'll be lucky to post by this evening which is why I'm just commenting now...and not totally trying to ignore the noise coming from the other room....crashing dishes, singing and banging on the table. I would never ignore the noise from my kids. Nope, not me...why would I need 5 minutes of morning peace to read the blog news and have coffee?
LOL!
How funny! My two year old was just in my stash of tampons and panty liners the other week. He came down stairs with a panty liners stuck to his butt!!
Oh how I love my therapy every Monday!!! I can remember for MONTHS after delivering my daughter that I would look at my husband out of the blue and say, "I can't believe I pushed her out!!!"
sorry i had to post how bad i felt that you got your period already and how happy i was that i haven't had it for almost two and a half years. :0) really though that stinks, i'm not looking forward to my little friend coming back. and now i can't believe i'm sharing all that. so anywho last week i posted how my youngest girl was playing with a nursing pad...that was used. so it could be worse...
:0)
I just realized I never commented that I left a link on my blog! Hope it's not too late. I will go back and leave one on the original post now!
Love your blog & this post!
Thanks for keeping us smiling!
I am about to go buy my jumbo box of tampons...the first time in well over a year and a half. My baby is nine months old when I started again, and let me tell you I swore I was pregnat again. I was very thankful when I did finally get it.
My Once Upon a Child is closed!!! How come yours is still open?!? That isn't fair!!!!
(That is NOT me having a tantrum about a resale shop. That woud be embarassing!)
I seriously believe your blog is the only thing that gets me through those monday mornings. I read while Im eating breakfast and when Im done... WA- LA- Im ready for the day! And today especially was imperative as I have finals this week and needed a little giggle to break the stress!! Thanks!!!!
I love that you do this! It is so fun to do!
I am joining the fun for the first time.
WOW! 7:45 am Mountain time and 137! We love MckMama!
Shew, I DID NOT get carried away with my "Not Me' post this week, listing waaaay more denials than usual! Thanks for the therapy session...you don't charge anything, do you? lol
You make me laugh! I used t hate Mondays but now I actually look forward to getting in a few giggles and some free therapy before I start my day.
I feel for you with the whole period thing. With my 3rd I was exclusively nursing and I thought for sure I'm not going to start until I introduce a bottle or solids. And wouldn't you know it, when she was 5 months old I started while we were at bible camp, in the middle of nowhere, with no "supplies"! I had to go around and knock on everyone's cabin and beg for tampons...ugh!!
GOD BLESS this Monday therapy session. Have a great Monday!
~Elyse~
Happy Monday all.
Too funny! My little Lola, who is almost the exact same age as Small Fry LOVES to play with tampons. She gets them out on a daily basis, carries them everywhere, and throws huge fits when I make her leave them at home when we go somewhere.
I might be a college student, but this morning, the minute I woke up, I went straight to your blog. Small Fry just cracks me up!!! I work at Gymboree too, so the whole Big Mac thing- you're definitely NOT the only mom w/ that problem :)
Just did my first Not Me! post, too. It's nowhere near exciting as your's though.
I was reading your photography lesson and I know you are busy but could you answer a question for me? I have a Sony digital camera and I have noticed that when I take pics indoors, I am getting orange looking pics. What am I doing wrong? Thanks so much in advance. I appreciate it so much. I hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas, love your blog!
Random.org??? I thought you were going to video tape the results! Aw, man! Oh well, still can't wait to hear who the winner is! SO EXCITING!! What a great way to help out others during the holidays!
I don't have a blog to "not me" on, but you certainly got me giggling this morning! MckMama, I love ya. Don't know ya, but I love ya! Keep it real, sista
Can I say that I {did not} post about inappropriate body things and what my kids do when daddy's gone too? NOT ME!!
Oh my goodness, you had me cracking up! I could only dare to be as brave as you and post such things. I was sitting here at my desk at work cracking up... and exactly how to I explain why I'm laughing when a co-worker walks by? Yikes! =0)
I'm glad you got some free time!
Wow a size 6? He is a big boy!!!
I love Monday's! Thanks, MckMama.. how fun.. and you are hilarious!
I came across your page and "Not Me" Mondays. I Love it!!!!! What a great way to begin the week with a laugh. Just wanted to say thanks for sharing and I enjoy reading about you and your family.
first timer! and certainly not loving every minute of it!
http://purduefans.blogspot.com/2008/12/this-blog-is-about-to-get-incredibly.html
Oh my goodness girl...I believe my new nickname for you will be:
FERTILE MckMYRTLE!!
Good luck with that ;).
Big Mac looks adorable, still!!
<>< Mommy B
I would be upset if my periods came back during breast feeding. So not fair!
Have a great week!
Got Aunt Flo back at 12 weeks PP with my son, and 9 weeks PP with my daughter. Oh, the joy!
Mondays are great now!
You crack me up!!! Okay- I love to blog and all but who or WHY are you all up between 2-5 AM???!!!!!? You must be serious about this stuff!! I admire your dedication but mine is dedicated to SLEEP!!! =-)
I too allow Trey to play with my tampon box. In fact, his shoe was lost for a month, and I found it the following month IN THE TAMPON BOX!
It did not take me several blog checks before I realized the "Blognapping" was like "kidnapping" and not refering to MckMama taking a nap.
And yesterday I did not finally find out that the two other organizations included in the raffle support adoption.
Then I certainly didn't get all emotional thinking about the impact this raffle is going to have on families who have answered God's call to care for an orphan.
And then I certainly didn't curse Pay Pal because I still can't figure out the password or security questions on our account! Like it's their fault I'm forgetful!
Have a great Monday!
Katie
MckMama, so glad for the opportunity to donate to these organizations and am doing so in honor of two families. I was hoping to get two of those beautiful gift certificates, but was unsure of what to do beyond just leaving a comment here. Please email me @ sarahmarie405@yahoo.com with further instructions. Thank you!
Sarah
Lol, while you talked about your period and pushing, I talked about teachig two older (50-60) women in my church family a new way to flip people off.
Thanks for the laughs
LOL! Fun with tampons, periods and pelvises! Where else can you get all that?! So did you buy pregnancy tests in bulk too?! LOL!
I also did not get my period back while exclusivly nursing my infant. Now that he is 4 months, I am most certainly not on my 2nd period. Nope. Not Me!
Im hoping my raffle purchases were logged as I've never received raffle ticket numbers (not in spam or any of the other places you listed)
I love this Not Me post! My daughter turns one this Friday and to keep her occupied while I'm trying to get ready for work in the morning or whenever, I open up the closet door in my bathroom and let her play with the tampons and pads. She loves the noise the wrappers make! I'm so glad someone else lets their kids do that too!! Thank you, I feel better now!
I love Not Me Monday! It is free therapy.
I think his bangs are so cute and VERY 4 years old!
Woo Hoo, I got some birthday money and bought a Raffle-Way ticket, at almost the last minute. So, maybe the verse about the last shall be first, will apply to this! ;)
Anyway, Congrats on an awesome total!!
Love your Not Me! Monday's! I also love participating in them! I have to say I did not talk about Aunt Flo in my blog today ;)
Since you mentioned your period, and I know you are all about easy yet practical and I am too (we do cloth diapers and I breastfed both my kiddos until they were a year)...I just have to share the most AMAZING thing (cheaper, better for the environment, EASIER and more natural)...check out www.divacup.com. It took some getting used to, but I could never go back to tampons...which I thought were the best invention until now! My sister found the best deal to buy one at www.betterlife.com.
If you have any questions, or want to know more on a personal level, feel free to email me at michelle.mowat@indwes.edu. Just wanted to share my find!! :)
Michelle
What a way to start off the week! I'm loving your Not Me Monday feature. You're a brave woman to put yourself out there like that and talk about your period and pelvis in the same post. :)
LOVE LOVE LOVE MONDAYS (exclusively for Not Me Monday's of course ;0)
Okay, I am so sad for you that you did not have a longer break with the you know what. That is completely unfair and I would demand it go away...
Can't wait for the big announcement! I agree with NewlyWed Central...I love me some Not Me Monday!
Yeah, I think the whole "you don't get your period while nursing" thing is a joke. I got mine back with both of my kids 2 months after they were born.
Oh, and my friend had a story at Bible Study you'd love...her little girl when shopping with her aunt at Target. The aunt had to go to the bathroom and I'm not exactly sure where she put her, but while the aunt was doing her buisness, the 3 year old got out all of her panty liners out of her purse and stuck them to her jeans and sweater like stickers! I guess there were like 6 on her and the aunt didn't notice until they were back out in the store!
I am laughing over Small Fry playing with tampons. That was one of my son's favorite things to do at that age!
My little guy just turned 4 at the end of November and I still can't believe it. He is also very tall, and wearing a size 6! Makes him seem older than he really is. :(
my blogger friends have been playing this for a while, so i decided to finally sign up, too.
You are too funny! Love your not me's!
This has been so much fun! Thanks for doing this!
I am NOT the newest person to link up to this and I did NOT just do my first Not Me Monday.
just sayin...
I just love to read all about your life and your adorable kiddos! :]
holy cow- i'm so sorry you already got your period back! that's just amazing... some people are meant to have lots of babies, apparently! : ) at least your daughter likes the tampons...
I've never, ever let my boys and daughter play with tampons. My oldest son certainly didn't enjoy playing with them so much that he would go looking for them and called them "bee-baw's".
Just too funny. With 2 teenage girls and a mom in the house, my sons thought it would be funny to peel and stick pads on the walls. Whole lota fun.
Helloooo~ Just a word from a former health teacher: Breast-feeding is NOT a form of birth control, periods or not. I'm sure you already know this! :) Also, gotta tell you that you brought back a childhood memory about finding Kotex "napkins" in the linen closet. My mom had me totally believing they were dinner napkins, 'til I tried to bring some out to set the table!!
http://vickitate.blogspot.com/
nice not me's! Big Mac's hair doesn't look bad...just shorter:) And I would so let mine play with anything ( safe) as long as he was occupied that long!
Where did mister linky go??
http://emily-neurohr.blogspot.com/2008/12/not-me-monday_15.html
Happy Monday:)
Love your not mes!!
always so honest! ur blog - you can talk about what you want;)
I know you're super busy pelvis mommy but I tagged you.

http://beautifulikethis.blogspot.com/2008/12/not-me-monday.html
http://morebonkiesplease.blogspot.com/2008/12/not-me-monday_15.html
You are too funny.... I love all tht you do!
I remember finding my mom's pads as a little girl and her telling me they were "mommy diapers." I couldn't figure out why my mom needed diapers at her age!
Love your blog!
You are SOOOOOO funny, and your Not Me! Monday posts always brighten my day!!! :)
I ate breakfast at McDonald's with my husband this weekend, and I thought of you and your precious family! :)
Sorry to hear about your lens. My nephew broke my zoom on labor day and I still haven't bothered to get it fixed. Too much money... to little time.
I am NOT in fact so happy that McKMama mentioned tampon armed toddlers and menstrual cycles....AND babies passing through pelvises....because that would mean that I too have a serious love for just getting real about life and laughing at it's sometimes brutal (or hysterical) realities!
Just be careful with the tampons....Maggie pulled one out of my purse (when she was Small Fry's age) one time at the check out and was gnawing on it before I even realized...and yes, the little dude behind the counter saw it all...and yes he was 3 shades of red...I was 32 shades I believe!
Congrats on the Raffle-Way! You deserve major props for what you did here girl! I know you are super humble about it but it really is sort of a big deal!
This has been a lot of fun!
It;s been a busy week and I just caught the tail end of NMM..
My post is up....no period/pelvis talk here, at least this time!
I just found your blog and I am loving the Mc's.....I think I might have to join in next Monday.
I enjoy your Not Me Mondays and am playing along for the first time at http://growingupriggs.blogspot.com
"Not me" Monday! is great. And yes, it can be dangerous when letting children play with tampons and pads- my daughter calls pads "mommy diapy." I thought it was cute enough until she brought one out to show people one day. Fun times!
Thanks for making me look forward to Monday's.
Tickled by the TMI Not Me Monday.
Please MckMama tell me that you know about the Diva Cup, right? The world's best alternative to tampons. I love mine and you need to buy one! No leaking tampons, no stained panties, money saved every month, no extra trash, less cramps. Seriously!
http://www.divacup.com/
I've done mine...I love the international date line!!! 'cause it's Tuesday here...and I always seem to actually miss MOnday....and my boys call my pads/tampons mummy nappies as in "mummy do you need your nappy today?", not that I have for a while now but they will certainly know about them soon!
Susan :):)
No underwear or menstrual cycle - and I nearly posted it on Tuesday! I did not get so bogged down with Christmas and cooking dinner I couldn't post to my blog - Not Me. No siree. I'm On Top of Things. Which is why I've yet to finish up those Christmas cards. Wonder if anyone would notice my sending out the Christmas cards on President's day?
Okay, this was seriously hilarious and a huge relief! I am so glad that I am not the only one who is not perfect, even in the loosest sense of the word! :) But I am a little depressed. How did you ever get so many people interested in your hectic life? I only have 1 follower of my blog and no one ever comments. So at times I feel I am simply being arrogant in thinking someone would want to know about my tiny little existence. :) What is your secret? :)
I love the humor in your blog!!
I love the humor in your blog!!

Love your blog...first time commenter, long time reader...
I'll still do my "Not Me Monday," just a day late :)
Someone sent us your blog through my church's prayer chain. My mom and I have been reading for the past seven or eight months. Thank you for everything you do!
Faith
I'm posting late too. Been a hectic couple of days.
This is gonna be fun. Your kids are so adorable isn't God's blessings amazing!
This is my first time participating in Not Me! Monday. However, I was NOT late.
Please delete 281! I linked up the wrong post. My bad!!! Sorry!
Tampons are a favorite activity for my 14-month as well. She likes to unwrap them, and they often find a place of honor in her dolly stroller. Only important things go in there. Like tampons. And pantiliners. And empty boxes from the recycling. :o)
I remember the day my oldest tried to put a pad in his undies, lol. He was about 2.5yrs old and Daddy was deployed, he was also very tall and and that age wearing a size 5-6 in pants and shirts. He is now 8yrs old and wears a size 10 and a size 4 in shoes.
My little guy on the other hand is a midget, lol. He just now at 3.5yrs wears 3T and a size 9 in shoes. Oh and shorts are great, he still wears 18-24 months as the waiste is perfect, lol :0)
Just found your blog and LOVE IT!!! Thank you for sharing your heart and directly ladies to Him!!
You're awesome!
Sarah
