Little Miss M. Is she a baby?
Or is she a big girl?
The answer, of course, is yes.
Our daughter M. Our marvelous, mischievous, maybe baby.
She's a sometimes big girl. A sometimes baby. She recently become another middle child and she's managing that mode magnificently.
Our maybe baby.

Bless you as you help all who follow you know and serve our Lord in much deeper and far reaching ways. You have truly blessed me in the months that I have read your blog and prayed for your family. You are such a breath of fresh air and I so look forward to reading what's going on in your life. It's like when you were a child and had a pen pal. You always looked forward to that communication. Until next time.
Okay...I have to say...she is DEFINITELY A BABY! Why am I so sure? She and my "baby" are about the same age...and I refuse to believe my "baby" is growing up!

She is a baby. Coming from a mom of four. My first two were 18 months apart and then a six year span and then the next two came 16 months apart...and they were babies but grew up faster because fo the younger babies that followed. Baby sweet Small Fry while you can, those days will fly by. My baby girl is 21 and her younger brother (my last baby) is going to be 20 in January. I miss those days...they sped by too fast and I was eager to have my baby girl be a big sister and not be the baby that she really was. God bless you and your precious family. Never forget to treasure these days with all of your babies.
Marvolous MckMama muses over Miss M - maybe mini-girl - maybe maxi-baby. Mostly middleish McKMaiden managing to make McKBrothers move as she mooches their tub time!
Here's hoping for a dry sleep for McKMama tonight!
Grannie in Florida
I have a "M"ason... He is my only, sigh... Maybe one day I can have more and he can have a sibling or two (maybe) that could make one of them a middle child... I never thought I ever wanted a large family... I so do, I have since I had my sweet Mason, he is wonderful, amazing and such a sweet addition to our family. How did we ever make it day to day with out him....
Awww she is soo adorable!!!! Love it :) Can't wait until my little miss muffin makes it to that age, and yet I can wait a long time to as I love the marvelous age that she is in right now.
Baby, or not baby, she is just precious!!! Isnt it funny how a little girl who looked like a baby just two weeks ago, now looks more like a big sister? WOW!
HAPPY 3 WEEKS STELLAN!!! (tomorrow)
Look at those beautiful eyes! She will ALWAYS be your baby...and hey, she will always have the title of your baby girl!
Marvelous M is making her sneaky moves!!!
~Elyse~
Mommies miracle mademoisselle is , a middle monkey who must manage much mischief with many multiplying masculine munchkins . As she grows she may become a Mommy Mini me, or her personality may mature to mimic her main male role model and mentor called daddy. Either way She will definitely be a magnificent and marvelous masterpiece of her majestic maker
She is just a doll....and you are a magnificent mama molding your marvelous miniature #2 middle child as well as your other MSC into adults. Your moving miracle story markedly changed my mindset. I await with much iMpatience for many more stories about your marvelous, mischevious, mind-blowingly cute MSC..shew!
Miss M is a maybe baby managing to master a mere amount of mayhem in a male mastered masoned mansion.
Sometimes, I just get a little nuts with my M's.
You know, like in my name....
MamaMisty
I too have only one girl. She is a Terrific Tessa...ok that's all I got on T's for now.
Sleep well, family. I see on your twitter that S is keeping you awake with the paci game. Good Luck! :) Been down that road too!!

She is absolutely precious.
Magnificent Middle Mck!!!!
Muchas smooches for MM.
Here is a random memory from my first day of kindergarten--no lie--we had stuffed plastic "letter people"...a new one arrived every week or so...and the first one was Mr. M with a Munching Mouth. I still remember parts of the theme song.
I'm a Melissa and my magnificent missy's nickname is Macy May!
Not only I am memorized by your little Miss M, but I am marveled at your aMazing readers and their massive amounts of creativity (none, of which, do I possess). : )
Love your daily "contests"... they keep me thinking!
i feel i must inform you...your miss m is certainly a baby. not much big girl to her. i can say this because i have a 10 year old, an 8 year old, a 5 and a 1 year old and when my 10 and 8 were 1...i too thought they were big...i really thought they were big when they were 3 and 4 and 5...but now i know, they were still babies babies babies. so now...my 5 and 1...babies all the way. and my 8 and 10...oh my goodness i'm tryin' to keep 'em little.
Oh how I needed to see these pictures of the sweet Maybe Baby. They were like a balm unto my heart, reminding me of God's goodness!
I added this on to the end of your prayer request post moments ago, but sshamelessly I was hoping to place it infront of more people for prayer, so please excuse the double post.
I have an urgent prayer request, for a family friend who was in a very serious motorcycle accident yesterday. Doctors are giving him a 50/50 chance of survival.
Rodney goes in for a second surgery at 10am EST on Tuesday. If you could please say a prayer as you read this, at 10, or really whenever... I could never thank you enough.
You can read about the situation as well as specific prayer requests at http://streetsofgeorgetown.blogspot.com/2008/11/please-pray.html
I'm a nanny for 4 kids and when the baby was born 6 months ago there was that transition time for #2 and #3 switching to the middle children. #2 was already a middle child, but by himself. #3 did not like not being the baby anymore! Eventually #2 and #3 realized that they could be best friends and entertain each other!
Miss MckMiddle!
Mirror Magnet!
She's so cute!
I just read your twitter on "paci-patrol." My kids had the toughest time keeping a pacin IN their mouth and I was up and down all night to "re-plug" it in. I switched to the kind with no "ring" and it got much better!! I think the weight of the plastic ring pulls it out of their mouth easier or something. MAM was the brand we had the best success with!
Good luck!
Love in Christ,
Angela
I have one about the same age - definitely a baby!!!
She is gorgeous
yes maam...my #3 came very close to #2...and well, those babies grow up so fast. ur little Mck is beautiful...and i think she's a big sista baby. :)
Mag pie! My mom to this day calls me that....you see, a mag pie is a bird that just keeps tweeting to hear itself talk-and evidently I never stopped talking!
My my my what a magnificent middle maybe baby. Me thinks MckMiddle is aMazingly precious.
My middle baby is my "Middle Mischievous". hehe She's two ... and we all know how that age is! hehe

Oh wow! What a beautiful little girl. :) I have three boys and I just love being mama to boys, but I have to admit, little girls kinda make me drool. :)
My youngest will be 2 in one month and some times (rarely) I get a glimpse of babyness. Mostly it'a all big boy. And wow it happend in the blink of an eye...
There are lots of good M words already. I’m not that creative!! You have some very creative followers MckMama! I do have to say that your little miss M is an adorable munchkin! My 11 month old daughter’s name is MaKena and I call her Little Miss too!! Thanks for sharing the beautiful pictures of Small Fry.

I love your blog and your kids are so darling! I love your MckMiracle story too-it brought tears to my eyes. You have so many readers and a great prayer life, I was wondering if you'd do me a favor. I have been following a story about a lovely family that is in the process of a domestic adoption and the birth mother is having doubts. Their story is below-I would hyperlink it if my computer would let me. Please start your prayer chain-they are such a wonderful couple and you are such a perfect example of the power of prayer!I am asking for your prayers for fellow bloggers, Jim and Adrienne. Thank you so much!!

She is soo adorable!!
My, my, my! Magnificent Miss M makes my morning meaningful! MckMama makes mothering MSC mucho manageable :)
I am so glad I found your blog...it's so wonderful! How old is Small Fry? I have a little-big girl about the same age...such a fun age. :)
I love your blog. A friend suggested it. I was also intrigued by another McK mom. Until I read your blog I thought that your kids names might begin with McK. Stellan is a beautiful boy.
What a sweet girl. I love that term. Maybe baby. Too cute.
Totally a baby--mines 5 and I just convinced him last night he was still my baby! My take on the M challlenge is this:
Miss M is the miraculous middle Mckid between a Mac and a Muffin that still manages to melt the mighty heart of one motivated, magical McKMomma.
I'm McMama's magnificent middle Mckid who must munch on mud..
Jo Ann Texas
I have no M's but I have to say she is a baby because my little girl is older than her by a few months and I do not want to think of her as a big girl!
she's simply Mckmazing...
I have a hard time not calling my almost 14 month old a baby. To me he will always be my baby, since he's our last. Little Miss M is most defintely a maybe baby! ;)
Hey MckMama!

My MckMama makes marvelous Mckids!
I have a prayer request. Here is a blog of a woman who lives in Kingwood, TX (I just moved away from there to Dallas this summer.) She is the mother of 6 and her husband died unexpectedly last Dec. He was the School Board president and they both were VERY active in church and well known, well liked active members of the community. She speaks of her friend "V" often in her blog and this friend's grandson was just born a month premature and did not make it. I know everyone close to the situation could use a blanket of prayer...

Minutely Mischivious - although I wonder if the bathtime escapade was encouraged by her older siblings.....nah...they would never do that! :)
A Mckmasterpiece!
She is simply beautiful.....
I do have to say.... I am still laughing about her joining the boys in the bath the other night. My thought was.... the first thing you thought of doing was to get your camera.....hahahaha tooooo funny!
I hope all is well.....
Hugs to you all from Ohio
Jennifer
magnificent mischevious m. :) made marvelously by the Maker!!
my little girl is Mallory. and we either call her Mal-Mal or mally moo :) im sure she will appreciate the cow reference one day!!
How many more months until she has bipedal mobility?
My greatgrandma had three children not walking at one time. One had been paralyzed by polio and the other two were very close in age. I have often wondered how you managed with two to carry.
Stroller or wrap, I suppose.
katie
Gosh, everyone else took my good ideas. She is maahhhhvelous, though! (Remember that Billy Crystal bit on Saturday Night Live?)
I have someone to add to your prayers, if you could. Jim and Adrienne, over at www.our-journey-to-parenthood.blogspot.com are trying to adopt a baby girl. The baby was born last Friday, and today the birth mother decided to take the baby home. They are, as you can imagine, crushed. They need all of our prayers more than ever. Thanks!
Isn't it amazing how the child that used to be a baby all the sudden seems so big once a new baby is introduced into the family. My son Owen was only 17 months old when Jack was born and he turned into such a big boy overnight. But in many many ways he's still my baby boy too!
This is kinda long but it addresses a comment you made about "not" using spit to clean up the kids. (I'm NOT "anon"~~I'm Michal immichal@yahoo.com but google messes up my password constantly.)
"SPIT SPOT CLEANING": "Everyone" seems to use spit to clean their kids but a friend of mine added a considerate touch. Let the kid to use their own spit for quick clean-ups. "Here honey. Spit on this kleenex." I've heard spit called "The Universal Solvent." Why don't we have "bionic kleenex boxes" installed when kids are born? I'm now like my grandma with a hankie up my sleeve...Pucker up!
I am forwarding this article with fun and useful information about the healing properties of SPIT! It doesn't make it clear if you need to use your OWN saliva or someone else's when you have a minor injury.
Saliva Heals Cuts Faster
By Catherine Guthrie
Go ahead: Lick your wounds. Your salivary glands are generating loads of curative compounds every day.
If you've ever cut your finger, your first impulse was probably to stick it in your mouth. That instinct serves you better than you might realize. Human saliva, it seems, speeds up wound healing.
Researchers at the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands bathed injured skin in saliva or a saltwater solution. Sixteen hours later, they compared the samples and found that the cut treated with saliva had healed 30 percent faster.
The finding wasn't a complete surprise; saliva contains more than 200 compounds, many of which have, in previous research, proved capable of preventing cavities, fighting fungi, and even protecting against HIV transmission. Yet the Dutch researchers did uncover something new: Although they assumed growth hormones were responsible for the accelerated healing time, the catalysts were actually proteins called histatins.
"We stumbled upon the discovery," says Menno Oudhoff, the study's lead investigator. "It's a surprising finding." One reason for Oudhoff's excitement is that histatins are easier to synthesize in the lab than growth hormones, and they can be mass-produced cheaply. Which means histatin-infused products such as bandages, creams, and gauze could be available within a decade.
Just Beautiful! Love your blog.
